(Senior) Consultant Airport Operations & ORAT (f/m/d)

The consultancy Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant (f/m/d) with experience and passion for Airport Operations & ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer). You are flexible to travel to global places for projects and you are open to relocate to Germany (if you are not living here)? Perfect, then let's get in touch!

Tasks that will inspire you

  • Support or lead our airport consulting and management engagements in the areas of concept of operations, ORAT, operations improvement and automated airport operations.
  • Advise our aviation clients as well as airports and terminals managed by us and participate in complex airport projects worldwide.
  • Formulate and develop recommendations, solutions and business cases with attention to client requirements and present them to our clients’ management on any level.
  • Support or lead business development engagements together with our teams to jointly succeed in the acquisition of new projects. 
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the aviation industry in the area of Advanced Air Mobility, Sustainability & Carbon Reduction and Digitalization & Automatization.
     

Qualifications that matter for us

  • You have a Master’s degree with focus on business, engineering or equivalent. Educational background in the area of aviation is of advantage. 
  • You bring several years of work experience in consulting business, airport companies or aviation industry in the area of airport operations with you.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • As you will be on several projects worldwide  it is required to be flexible in willing to travel extensively.  In addition a relocation to Germany (Munich) is no problem for you as you will work from the headquarter and travel globally from there.
  • You have excellent English language skills (oral and written), other language skills are advantageous, good German language skills are welcome. 
  • Certified clean police record for airport pass application and police background check
