- Strategic Market Positioning: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for business expansion, market positioning, and partnership development in the Aviation Industry.
- Client Acquisition: Actively approach clients, generate leads, and conduct market/trend analyses to identify new business opportunities.
- Client Retention and Growth: Maintain and expand existing client relationships, fostering cross- and up-selling opportunities.
- Proposal Development and Contract Negotiations: Create tailored proposals and lead contract negotiations, ensuring all technical, commercial, legal, and financial requirements are met.
- Corporate Development: Participate in the development and implementation of corporate initiatives to support MAI's growth strategy.
- Engagement Management: Support Head of Competences and Project Managers in project operations and co-develop/implement strategies aimed at ensuring high project delivery and account management standards.
Qualifications that matter for us
- Education and Experience: University degree in business, aviation management, or related engineering disciplines with at least 7 years of experience in the airport business.
- Strategic Skills: Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and business development activities at international level.
- Project Experience: Experience in the commercialization and execution of consulting, and management projects in the airport marketplace.
- Management Competence: Proven experience interacting/negotiating with complex organizational structures and dealing with stakeholders.
- Conflict Management: Excellent conflict resolution skills in challenging situations.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in multicultural environments. English and German Skills are required.
- Flexibility and Resilience: High resilience and flexibility under tight deadlines, with a willingness to travel and live abroad.
- Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency with PC, particularly MS Office and CRM tools, and strong English language skills (additional languages advantageous, good German skills preferred).
