Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting, and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. With its headquarters located at Munich Airport and subsidiaries in Berlin and New Jersey, MAI employs around 200 highly qualified experts and can look back on more than 125 successfully completed projects in over 45 countries.

At our headquarters at Munich Airport, a multicultural team of around 70 members works daily to fulfill our mission: by sharing our best practices globally and actively participating in pioneering developments, we strive to lead the aviation industry towards a better future. To support us, we are looking for an Associate (f/m/d) to join our team as soon as possible, contributing to our consulting projects and business development. The position is particularly suitable for early career professionals with relevant internship experience.

  • Market analysis: researching and analyzing global tenders, market information, and competitors
  • Support in the preparation of project proposals, together with subject matter experts
  • Being part of consulting projects and analyzing datasets processes, preparing documents and presentations
  • Other responsibilities in business development and project delivery

Zum Abheben – die nötigen Qualifikationen

  • The foundation of your success is a completed university degree in an aviation-related, business, or technical discipline. Ideally, you possess some know-how in the airport business sector.
  • You complement your theoretical knowledge with relevant practical experience gained through internships or working student positions, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • You always maintain a strong focus on the needs of both internal and external clients and are committed to meeting these needs.
  • Your analytical thinking skills, as well as your independent and reliable working style, speak for themselves.
  • Thanks to your excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken, you can navigate confidently in an international work environment; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • You are willing to undergo the legally required background check.
